Aaron Curtis (Bill) Redfern

Mr. Aaron Curtis "Bill" Redfern, 65 of Monroe, NC died February 11, 2013 in Monroe, NC.  A Graveside Servcie will be held 2pm Friday, February 15, 2013 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Adams St., in Monroe, NC. 28110, Reverend Caron Smith, Eulogist.  Public viewing will be held 12 noon to 7pm at  Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe.

Born in Union County, North Carolina January 23, 1948 a son of the late Baxter and Katie Staton Redfern.  "Bill" as he was so fondly called attended Flint Ridge Missionary Baptist church in Marshville, NC and was a self employed brick mason for over 30 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; Henry Redfern, James Redfern and Roosevelt Redfern and one sister; Geraldine Redfern.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sisters; Alice Covington of Monroe, NC and Selma Garcia of Rockaway, NY and a host of neices, nephews and other relatives and special friend Hattie Mae Sturdivant of Monroe, NC.
