MR. ALEXANDER LITTLE, JR., 78 of SPENCER, NC, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021, at his daughter's residence.
Graveside Services will be held 12:00 pm Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Snow Hill Church Cemetery, 204 Snow Hill Church Rd., MT. Gilead, NC.
(Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic everyone attending the Service and Public Viewing are required to wear a face mask or facial covering. Also please use the Hand Sanitizing Station when entering and exiting the Funeral Home.)
A public viewing will be held 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Harris Funeral Home and Cremation of MT. Gilead, NC, which is serving the Little, Bowden and extended families.
Mr. Alexander Little, Jr., a son of the late Alexaander Little, Sr. and Bella Bowden little, was born on Friday, December 18, 1948, in Montgomery County, NC. He departed this earthly life on Friday, January 22, 2021 at his home in Spencer. NC.
"Dutch", as he was fondly callled by family and friends, was a graduate of Peabody High School in Troy, NC, where he was a great artist. He loved to draw from elementary up until high school. at Peabody, he drew posters for teachers and Mr. Samuel T. Hawkins and Mr. Robert T. Hoffman and also drew the large eagle that was on the Peabody gymn floor.
Dutch worked at McRae Shoe Factory, Mt. Gilead, NC and Industrial plants in High Point. NC, beofre relocating to Baltimore, MD, where he had many jobs. He retired from the Shasta Beverage Company in Baltimore, MD.
He eattended Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church in Baltimore, MD. until he relocated to Spencer to love with his daughter Jennifer and son-in-law Curtis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander Little, Sr., and Bella Little; brothers Elroy Little, Billy Roger Little, Charles Little and James "Nick" Little.
Those left to cherish his memories are his loving daughter, Evangelist Jennifer Miller (Curtis) of Spencer, NC; sons, Alexander Cuthrell of Mt. Gilead, NC and Recio Thomas of New York; two brothers, Robert Lee Little of High Point, NC and Richard Davis Little of Mt. Gilead, NC; three sisters, Ruth Ann Robinson, Jacqueline Smith (Artillia) and Mariella Leake, all of Mt.Gilead, NC; one uncle, A.L. Little (Edna) of Troy, NC; 7 grandchildren, Caden Calloway, Shawn Cuthrell, Aaron Cuthrell, Donovan Cuthrell, Safari Pegues Battle (James), Angela Pegues (Makia) and Charles Pegues (Tiffany); 11 great-grand best friends, Eddie Lawson and James Collins and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends,
