APOSTLE JUANITA DELORES FRISBY, 76 of MONROE, NC, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Monroe Rehabilitation Center in Monroe, NC.

Celebration of Life will be held 1:00pm Friday, August 5, 2016 at Prosperous Revival Temple, 4711 Old Charlotte Hwy., Indian Trail, NC.

A public viewing will be held 1:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC.

Apostle Juanita Delores Frisby, was born on Thursday, June 27, 1940, in Chester Pennsylvania, to the late William Frisby and Ruth Peterson Frisby.  " Sue", as she was fondly called, attended Chester Public Schools and earned a degree in Home Economics and Nutrition for Youth from Delaware Technical Community College and Penn State University.  She served as the Nutrition Director for Hed Start of Delaware County.  She went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 24, 2016.

Apostle Frisby accepted the Lord in 1961 and was called to the Evangelistic Ministry in 1968. Years later, she became an active member in the United Church of Deliverance and graduated from the Bible Institute in 1979.  In that same year, Juanita was called to the Pastorial Ministry, where she became the president and instructor of Deliverance Institute in 1981.  In July of 2001, she received her Doctorate of Divinity, and was called by God to Apostleship in October of 2003.  Apostle Frisby was the founder and Senior Pastor of Deliverance Crusade Ministries International.  She was chosen by God, to bring forth a word of deliverance and healing.  She was a true vessel of the Lord who would often say, if the bible doesn't say it, we won't do it., as well known for saying, " I am, excited", because she was always excited about  what He was doing!

She was preceded in death by two children, a daughter, Anne Frisby (Tiny,) Joseph (Joey) Frisby; five brothers, Leroy Frisby, Herbert Frisby,  Lamont Frisby, William Frisby, and Robert Frisby; her a adopted [parents;' Milton Kelly. Sr.,  Anna Negro  and Kelly and Mrs. Elizabeth Wesley; one adopted sister.

Apostle Frisby leaves to cherish her memories, her four children, one son, Michael Frisby (Sandra) of Hamlet, NC; three daughters, Clarice Frisby, of Monroe, NC and Ruth Dorsey-Frisby, of Charlotte, NC and Rochelle Holmes (Tom) of Midway, GA; one brother, James Kelly (Mildred) of Plantation, Fla; two sisters, Karen Kelly Goode and Katherine Redd (Tony); two sisters-in-law, Robin Frisby and Janette Frisby, all of Chester, PA; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren. 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
