MISS APRIL FAY CHRISTIAN, 37 of MT. GILEAD, NC passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the Mount Airy AME Zion Church Cemetery, 322 Rosenwald School Rd., MT Gilead, NC.

A Public Viewing will be held 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of MT. Gilead, NC.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished the courst, I have kept the faith,   2 Timothy 4:7

A Time To Be Born:  Miss April Fay Christian ,  was born on Sundaym May 22, 1983  to Michael Nicholson and the late Annette Christian Henry and raised by her aunt, Annie Beatrice Christian.

A Time To Plant:  "Ape" , as she was fondly called by family and friends, attended the public schools of Montgomery County, NC .  Her church affiliation was with Mt. Airy AME Zion Church, Mt. Gilead, NC. April's hobbies included traveling, dancing, eating and her all time favorite was "getting lit", as she loved to say.  Those preceding her in death were her mother, Annette Christian Henry (2005), her sister, Dominique Henry (1991), her grandmothers, Beatrice Christian (2004) , Patricia Lee Pankey and grandfathers, Henry Christian, Sr., and Bobby Nicholson, Sr.

A Time To Die: "Ape " departed this beautiful and happy life on Wednesday afternoon January 20, 2021 in the UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill, NC.

A Time To Mourn: Those left to cherish her dynamic and loving memories her mother/aunt, Annie B. Christian and father, Michael Nicholson (Cecilia), all of Mt. Gilead, NC; step-father, Ezekiel Henry of Mt. Gilead, NC;  her loving brother, James E. Christian (Shamega) of the home; her aunts and uncles, Henry L. Christian (Robin) of Troy, NC, Bobby Nicholson, Jr., Tina Talley of Philadelphia , PA and Fannie Mae Mormon; April's partners in crime, her nieces and nephews, Jamirious I. Mooney (aka Tink), Jamillieo Moore (aka Jae, Jae), Henry J. Christian (aka Pooh Bear). Damon Rhone (aka DJ), Ziare Capel of Candor, NC and Alicia Lee (aka Mook), adoptive eon Jitun Smith, and her best friends,  Necia Wilson and Travis McRae, and a host of cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
