Benjamin Franklin Lee

MR. BENJAMIN FRANKLIN LEE, 59 of MONROE, NC  formerly of Anson County, NC passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Novant Health / Matthews Medical Center in Matthews, NC.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00pm Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the Mount Calvary AME Zion Church, 800 LaSalle St., Monroe, NC 28110.  Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Polkton, NC.

Born Thursday, March 22, 1956 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Sylvester and Bessie Mae Allen Lee.  He was a 1972 graduate of Bowman High School in Wadesboro, NC, a US Army Veteran and was an employee of Tyson Foods in Monroe, NC. Preceding were his parents; two sisters;  Ruby Pearl Lee and Alice Rae Lee two brothers; Hartford "Pap" Lee and  Edward Pepper Lee.

He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to three sisters; Sally Lee  and Geraldine Bennett (Robert Lee) both of Monroe, NC and Annie Mae Bennett of Charlotte, NC; one brother; Robert Lee of Pageland, SC and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
