MRS. BEULAH MAE THREATT LOUALLEN, 87 of JEFFERSON, SC passed away Sunday, January, 24, 2021 at Kershaw Health Medical Center in Camden, SC.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Flint Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, 534 Flint Ridge Church Rd., Pageland, SC. Interment will follow in the Morning Star Holiness Church Cemetery in Jefferson, SC.
(Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic everyone attending the Service and Viewing are reqired to wear a mask or facial covering. Also please use the Hand Sanitizing Station when entering and exiting the Funeral Home.)
A public viewing will be held 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Friday, January 29, 2021 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of Monroe, NC which is serving the Louallen, Threatt and extended families.
Mrs. Beulah Mae Threatt Louallen was born on March 20, 1933 in Fort Motte, South Carolina to the late Rev, Henry Norman Threatt and Mary Butler Threatt. She departed her life on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Kershaw Helath Medical Center in Camden, South Carolina
Beulah recieved her formal education in the Chesterfield County Public School System. After graduating, she attended the Poro Beauty School in Columbia, South Carolina which was the only beauty school owned and operated for African Americans in South Carolina.
Beulah joined Flint Ridge Baptist Church at an early age. She was the first president of the Flint Ridge Missionary Baptist Church Ministries, Deacons and Trustees Wives Ministry and was a member of the Senior Choir. She also enjoyed traveling with the church's Senior Group.
Beulah was a strong ,intelligent , wise, beautiful and virtuous woman. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister aunt and friend, She was quiet, but also asserted herself and made her thoughts and feelings known when necessary. She was so full of life even in her golden years. Those preceding her in death were a son, Walter Alex Louallen, sistersm Queen T. Ingram (Late Percival), Johnsie Lee Threatt; brothers-in-lawm Henry Louallen, Pickens Thomas Louallen (Eutha), Arthur Mae (Shontell) and host of other family and friends,
She leaves to cherish her husband of 68 years, Rev, Moses A.Louallen; daughters, Gwendolyn Boykin (Ronald)m Daphne L. Watts (Rev. Maurice) and Maeretta Louallen; son, Aaron Henry Louallen (Vida); grandchildren, LaShonda L, Eaddy (Jack)m Joshua N. Louallen, Hannah P.Watts and Christian C.Louallen; great-grandchildren, Lillian and Jordyn Eaddy, Jocelyn and Avery Louallen; sisters, Doretha T. Jordan (Late Sebern), Pansy T. Evans (late Colenzo) and Ruth T. Jordan (James); sister-in law, Lizzie L. Brown (late James), Shenandorh Truesdale-Raley (the late Holden) and a host of other relatives and friends. .
