BISHOP BOBBY MARTIN, SR., 74 of MT. GILEAD, NC formerly of Laurinburg, NC passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at First Health / Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC.

Graveside Services will be held 1:00 pm Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Hillside Memorial Park, 290 N. Wilkinson Dr., Laurinburg, NC.

A Public Viewing will be held 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Harris Fuenral Home & Cremations of MT. Gilead, NC.

Bishop Bobby Martin Sr., was born on Saturday, July 6, 1946, to Neala Martin and Henrietta Nicholson Martin. Bishop gained his heavenly wings on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

Bishop attended school in Laurinburg, NC.  He retired from LOF Glass Company in Laurinburg, NC. Bobby was employed with Daisy and Edwards Home Health in Mt. Gilead, NC.

Bishop Bobby Martin, Sr ., was the founder and Bishop of Holy Deliverance Temple in Laurinburg, NC. Bishop Bobby attended Citadel House of Prayer and Deliverance, where he faithfully served as Bishop and Chairman of the Finance Committee.

Bobby loved to help, pray for you, always giving an encouraging word and touched many lives as he traveled  through his journey. Bobby also loved to fix and break things and throw bolts and screws away.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Neala and Henrietta Martin; three brothers, Henry  Martin, James F. Martin, and Clifton Martin and two sisters, Carrie Mae Herbert, and Doris Martin.

Memories of an incomparable Bobby, Sr. , will remain in the hearts and minds of those he leaves behind.  To cherish his memories; his wife, Edwina Martin, three sons, Pastor Bobby Martin, Jr., (Deborah) of Hamlet, NC, Omar Little (Tanya) of Asheboro, NC and  Kelvin Clark of  Mt. Gilead, NC, three daughters, Nikki Martin Prince of Laurinburg, NC, Shamese Clark  of Mt. Gilead, NC, Daish Legrand of Greensboro, NC ; seven brothers, Dannie Martin (Sandra) of Stockbridge, GA, Neal A. Martin (Myrtle) of Brooklyn, NY, Cliffton Martin (Dean) of Jefferson, SC, MJ Martin (Ernestine) of Baltimore, MD, Joe L. Brown (Linda) of Laurinburg, NC, Hubert Lee Martin (Barbara) of Greensboro, NC and Norman Martin (Carolyn) of Baltimore, MD; two sisters, Betty Jean Martin of Laurinburg, NC, and Joyce Anne Alexander of High Point, NC; grandchildren, Brittany, Ashley, Mae Rachel Martin, Delicia Prince, Breanna, Zovnovia, Omarrius, and Geral; 6 sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, nephews, special nephew, Ricky Martin, nieces, cousins. other relatives and friends.
