Casey Kenneth Blevins

MR. CASEY KENNETH BLEVINS, 75 of MONROE, NC passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Novant Health / Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.

A memorial service and full military honors will be held 2:00pm Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the Harris Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Monroe, NC  A Private Interment will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017  in the Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.

Born Saturday, July 5, 1941 in Sullivan County, TN a son of the late H.C. and Juanita Kilgore Blevins.  He was educated in the Sullivan County, TN Public Schools after graduating from High School Casey entered the United States Army where he served from December 1961 to December 1967 receiving an Honorable Discharge for his service.  After receiving his Honorable Discharge from the US Army, Casey was a longtime employee of the Eastman Chemical Company in Kingsport, TN  where he retired in 1999 and relocated to Monroe, NC. After relocating to Monroe, NC, Casey became an employee of the Warp Development Company where he was employed until his demise.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother; Gene Blevins.

Casey is survived by his Fiance; Barbara N. Black of the home, one brother; Bill Blevins, one sister; Nancy Pratt both of Kingsport, TN, two nieces, two nephews and a host of friends. Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe , NC is in charge of arrangements
