Cassandra was born on Tuesday, November 23, 1965, in Union County, Monroe, NC and was called home to be with the Lord, one day after her earthly birthday on Friday, November 24, 2017.  She was the 12th child from the union of the late Henderson, Sr., and Janie Lee Morrison and grew up in Mineral Springs, NC.

Sandy was a graduate of Parkwood High School, class of 1984, and later received her CNA and EMT Certifications at South Piemont Community College in Monroe, NC and her Culinary Certification from CPCC-Charlotte, NC.

Sandy, as she was fondly known by  all, was preceded in death by her husband, Brian Wilder and to this union, one son, Brian LaTroy Wilder was born.  She later married Michael Logan of March 16, 1996, and this union was blessed with a daughter, Hannah Logan.

Cassandra worked tirelessly in the community, visiting the elderly and widowed as well as those who just needed a smiling face.  She could often be found collecting donations so that others could have.  Her unquestionable love for Christ shone through as she worked as a missionary, meeting the spiritual and physical needs of others.  At an early age, Cassandra gave her life to Christ and joined the membership of the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church and was a faithful member.  She later joined Victory Christian Center as a submissive wife for some time, but returned to Mt. Pisgah later.  She worked as a personal greeter to be sure every guest who came onto the church yard felt welcomed.

She is best known for her love of cooking and of Christ.  Sandy would bring batches of cookies to church just to see everyone scramble for the last crumb.
