Charlie Price Caple

MR. CHARLIE PRICE CAPLE, Sr., 69 of MT. GILEAD, NC passed away Saturday  June 1, 2019 at First Health Hospice in Pinehurst  NC.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the Thomasville Missionary Baptist Church, 233 Thomasville Church Rd., Mt. Gilead, NC.

A public viewing will be held 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Harris Funeral Home and Cremations  of Mt. Gilead, is serving the Caple and extended families.

Charlie Price Caple, Sr., was born on Sunday, January 15, 1950, in Montgmery County, NC, to the late June and Virginia Barringer Caple.  He departed this earthly life on Saturday, June 1, 2019, in the Firsthealth Hospice and Palliative Care in Pinehurst, NC.

"Brown", as he was fondly called, had accepted the Lord as his personal savior and attended the Thomasville Missionary Baptist Church.

Charlie loved to fish and enjoyed doing yard work.  He was predeceased by his wife, Bernice Little Caple, son, Bernard Caple; a brother, Alvin Caple and three sisters, Addie Mae Turner, Mae Alice Collins and Marcella McDonald.

He leaves to cherish precious memories to his sons, Adrain Caple (Kisha) of Conyers, GA and Charlie Caple, Jr.; daughter, DeAngela Caple, both of the home; one sister, Beulah Ellerbe (Raymond) of Mt. Gilead, nC; three sisters-in-law, Elder Melinda McGuine Robinson (Jimmy) of Charlotte, NC, Dale Watkins (David) and Elaine Pankey (Robert) of Mt. Gilead, NC; three brothers-in-law, Rev. Darrius Little (Brenda) of High Point, NC, David Little (Veronica) of Virginia Beach, VA, and Harrison Little (Harriett) of Durham, NC; one aunt, Evangelist Ernestine Burton and one uncle, Rev. Edward Barringer, both of Norfolk, VA; 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; special nephews, Derrick Christian and Shawn McDonald; special friends, Larry Little and William (Tink) McRae, and a host of neices, nephews, cousins and friends.
