MR. CHARLIE ROBINSON 77,  MOUNT GILEAD, NC passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Autumn Care Nursing & Rehabilitation in Biscoe, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 4527 NC Hwy. 73 West.  Mount Gilead, NC 27306. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

A public viewing will be held 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm  Monday, May 21, 2018  at Harris Funeral Home and Cremations of Mount Gilead, NC.

"Pookie", as he was fondly called by family and friends, was born on Friday, May 17, 1940 in Montgomery County, NC to the late Ed and Corennia Dumas Robinson.

Charlie attended the public schools of Montgomery County and was employed in the logging business.  He was predeceased by his parents;  wife; Barbara Ann McRae Robinson; brothers; Raeford, Grady and William "Boy" Robinson and two sisters: Cora Leake and Marjorie Thomas.

He leaves to cherish loving and fond memories to his children; Patrina Ratliff Owens of Albemarle, NC and Jeffrey Antwan Ratliff of Winston Salem, NC; sisters, Dorothy Bogan of Ellerbe, NC and Mae Catherine Thomas of Plainfield, NJ; two grandsons, Laquintin Ratliff and Laquavius Ratliff; two great-grandsons; sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Robinson of Mount Gilead, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
