MS. CLEVEANN GOODE, 57 OF MT. GILEAD, NC, passed away Saturday, Septermber 25, 2021, at Atrium Health / Stanly Hospital, Albemarle, NC.
Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the Chestnut AME Zion Church Cemetery, 7093 Grassy Island Road, MT. Gilead, NC.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 1, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Harris Funeral Home and Cremations fo Mt. Gilead, NC.
(Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, everyone attending the Services and Public Viewing are required to wear a Mask or Facial Covering. Also please use the Hand Sanitizing Station when entering and exiting the Funeral Home.)

On Saturday, September 25, 2021, Cleveann Goode heard a voice from the Lord and gained her wings, and went home with the Lord. Cleveann , a daughter of Ms. Frances Louise Knott and the late Dewey Allen Goode, was born on Friday, July 17, 1964 in Charles County, Maryland.
Cleveann attended the public schools of Stanly County, North Carolina and attended North Stanly High School, Albemarle, NC. She was a faithful member of Chestnut A.M.E. Zion Church in Mt. Gilead, NC. She was formerly employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and was loved by all of her patients. Later her health prevented her from doing so. She will be sorely missed.
Cleveann was preceded in death by her father and most recently by her son, Paul Junior Waddell III, "PJ".
Those left to cherish and to honor her memory is her beloved daughter, Aja Keyana Goode of the home; her mother, Frances L. Knott of Waldorf, MD; sister, Regina Crouch (Noah) of Norwood, NC; brothers, Tracey Benjamin (Sade) of Norwood, NC, NC and Cornelius Knott of Waldorf, MD; two granddaughters, Skylar and Sienna Waddell; special nephews, Noah Anthony Crouch, Terence Crouch, Jacob Crouch and Trey Benjamin; special niece, Tra'Kae Benjamin; special friends, Henrietta Waddell Foust and family and Paul Junior Waddell and family, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
