Deloise Jane (Greene) Lilly

MRS. DELOISE JANE  GREENE 69 of MT. GILEAD, NC (Pee Dee Community) passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020, at the Lillie Bennett Nursing Home in Wadesboro, NC.

Graveside Services will be held 12:00 pm  Saturday, November 14, 2020 at the  Mt. Zion AME Zion Church Cemetery (Pee Dee Community) 6748 NC Highway 73 West,  Mt. Gilead, NC.

(Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic everyone attending the service must wear a face mask or facial covering also during the Public viewing at the Funeral Home and use the hand sanitizing station when entering and exiting the Building).

A Public viewing will be held 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm  Friday, November 13, 2020  at Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of MT. Gilead, NC which is serving the Lilly, Greene and extended families.

Born on Friday, January 12, 1951, in Montgomery County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Lincy Ree Greene.

Her fornal education was received in the public schools of Montgomery County, NC.

Deloise's church affiliation embodied her membership in the Mt. Zion AME Zion Church (Pee Dee Community), where the Reverend Ronald Goss is the pastor.

Ms. Lilly was preceded in death by her husband, George Lilly; her mother, Lincy Ree Greene; grandmother, Maggie Greene; sister, Charlotte G. Wall and brother-in-law, Danny Rorie.

Those left to cherish and to honor her memory; a loving daughter, Barbara Greene of Lynchburg, VA; one brother, Dwight L. Greene of Manhattan, NY; two sisters, Gloria G. Rorie of Wadesboro, NC and Rebecca Gibson of Albemarle, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
