Dollie Ann (Dubose) Horne

MRS. DOLLIE ANN DuBOSE HORNE, 67 of MONROE, NC passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Atrium Health / Union in Monroe, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Harris Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Monroe, NC with Interment to follow in Meltonville Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Peachland, NC.

(Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic everyone attending the Services and Public Viewing are required to wear a mask or facial covering.  Also please use the Hand Sanitizing Station when entering and exiting the Funeral Home.)

A public vieiwng will be held 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Friday, July 2, 2021 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of Monroe, NC which is serving the Horne, DuBose, White and extended families.

Ms. Dollie DuBose Horne, was the daughter of the late Marion James DuBose , Sr., and Julia Mae White DuBose.  She was born in Union County , North Carolina on August 7, 1953.  She departed this life on Sunday, June 27, 2021.

Dollie was a loving and kind person,  She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She never met a stranger.  She treated all people with love and kindness,

She is preceded in death by hr son, Dennis Horne, Jr.; grandsons, Zah'Mariel Horne and James Horne, Jr. and two sisters, Ophelia Moore and Minister Kathy Chambers.

Those left to cherish and to honor  her memory are two sons, James Horne (Conovia Horne) of Marshville, NC and  Brandon Horne of Wingatem NC; three daughters, Darlene Horne of Wingate, NC, Felicia Horne (Calvin Richareson) of Wadesboro, NC and Kenya Horne(James Reid) of Monroe, NC; 16 grabndchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; one sister, Patty Holmes of Monroe, NC; three brothers, Marion James DuBose, Jr., (Carrie DuBose) of Indian Trail, NC,Reedie DuBose (Chris DuBose) of Wingate, NC; and Craven DuBose (Roslyn DuBose) of Pageland, SC; one aunt, Mattie Lou Polk of Wingate, NC and one brrother-in-law, Eric Chambers of Peachland, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends,
