Dr. Julias (Crowder) Mcdonald

DR. JULIAS CROWDER McDONALD, 73 of MONROE, NC passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Novant Health/ Presbyterian Main in Charlotte, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00pm Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 5909 Wolfpond Rd., Monroe, NC 28112. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 5:30pm to 7:00pm Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC.

Born in Union County, NC, Sunday, September 19, 1943 a daughter of the late Capious and Sarah Blount Crowder.  Dr. McDonald was a retiree of the Union County, NC Public School System and Former President of the Women General Baptist State Convention and the widow of the late Hubert McDonald. Also preceding her in death was a brother Lander Glenn Crowder.

She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to two sons;  Reginald McDonald (Neatosha) of Charlotte, NC and Kenneth Grady (Kim) of Monroe, NC, four grandchildren; Samantha, Matthew, Dakota and Makayla, one sister; Diane Polk of Monroe, NC, two brothers; Carwell Crowder of Monroe, NC and Jimmy L. Crowder of Spartanburg, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
