Ethel Allene (Brown) Massey

ETHEL ALLENE BROWN MASSEY, 96 of WAXHAW, NC died Monday, November 3, 2014 at Royal Park Rehabilitation and Health Center of Matthews, NC.  Funeral Services will be held 11am Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Piney Grove West Missionary Baptist Church, 6712 Sims Rd., Waxhaw, NC 28173, with Visitation to be held 10:30am to 11am prior to the service at the church.  Interment will follow in the Ebenezer AME Zion Church Cemetery in Waxhaw, NC.

Born in Union County, NC, Friday, September 27, 1918 a daughter of the late Plaxico Brown, Sr. and the late Agnes Barnes Brown.  She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband; Harrison "Top" Massey, Jr.;  One Brother; James Andrew Brown; One Sister; Myrtle O'Thelma Brown.

She leaves to cherish fond memories of  her life to one son; Harold J. Massey (Glenda) of Euless, TX, Two Grandchildren; Sonya Massey Farrow of Eulesss, TX and Robin Massey McGee of Hurst, TX; Five Great-grandchildren; Je'len, Riyan and Trenton Farrow of Euless, TX, Joanthony and Madison McGee both of Hurst, TX; One Sister; Theola Brown of Monroe, NC; Two Brothers, John H. Brown (Martha)  of Washington, DC  and Plaxico Brown, Jr. (Brite)  of Waxhaw, NC; Sister in Law; Nellie Mae Harris (Richard) of North Wilksboro, NC  and a host of Nieces, Nephews, God Children and other relatives and friends.
