Eugene Hamilton

MR. EUGENE HAMILTON, 69 of MARSHVILLE, NC passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at Atrium Health / Hospice of Union County in Monroe, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Harris Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Monroe, NC.  Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Polkton, NC.

A public viewing will be held 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday, December 27, 2019 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of Monroe, NC.

Born Friday, July 21, 1950 in Union County, NC  a son of the late John B. Lotharp, Jr. and Katie Hamilton.  Eugene confessed his life to Christ at an early age and was educated in the Public Schools of Union County, NC and was a Truck Driver for the Williams Corporation until his health began to decline.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter; Regina Allen, a sister; Mary Phillips and two brothers; Derris Hamilton and Elvin Hamilton.

He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to three sons; Jamie Hamilton and Mitchell Griffin both of Marshville, NC and Elvin Hamilton of Chesterfield, SC, four daughters; Carrie A. Hamilton and Pamela Hamilton both of Wingate, NC and Keisha Hamilton and Yolanda Hamilton both of Charlotte, NC, two sisters; Beverly Huntley and Arlene Hall both of Midland, NC, four brothers; Nelson Hamilton, Jasper Marsh, Bryan Lotharp and Norman Lotharp all of Monroe, NC and his former wife, Carrie Louise Hamilton of Wingate, NC, 12 Grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
