Faye Dean (Anthony) Brown

MRS. FAYE DEAN ANTHONY BROWN, 83 of MATTHEWS, NC passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at her home.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 381 Crestdale Rd., Matthews, NC

(Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic eveyone attending  the service are required to wear a mask or facial covering and public viewing at the funeral home).

A public viewing will be held 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of Monroe, NC.

Faye Dean Anthony Brown , the daughter of the late Bonnie McClellan and Burge Anthony of Matthews, NC, was born on Thursday, January 7, 1937 in Union County, NC.  She was the 8th of 13 chlldren.

Faye worked at PCA International for several years until she retired.  Being the loving servant that she was, with the need to keep her body moving, she came out of retirement and returned to work part-time at Home Depot.  Her infectious laugh and widespread smile will truly be missed.

Preceding her in death were her nine siblings; Earl, Elizabeth, Norman, Elvm Bill, Garrett, Bobbyk Polly, Raymond and a grandson, Demontez.

Those left to cherish her memories are her five children, Kenner Moore, Tony Brown, Pamela Brown, Gerald Brown and Darryl Brown, Jr.; two  sisters, Peggy Lawrence  and JoAnn Anthony; her grandchildren, Kenetra  and Keonta Moore, Padria Grier, Jamarius, Jaquan, Kwame and David Brown, Chinara, Shaniya and Shakira Brown and Darryl Brown, Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
