Florence "Jean" R. Craig

Mrs. Florence R. "Jean" Craig, 66 of Monroe, NC died Wednesday, January  16, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC.  A Memorial Service to Celebrate the life of Mrs. Craig will be held 1pm Tuesday, January 22, 2013, with a Vistation of Family and friends at 12 noon prior to the Service at Central United Methodist Church, 801 S. Hayne St. Monroe, NC 28112.

Born in Union County December 8, 1946 a daughter of the late Othar Wynn and Mary Elizabeth Robinson Wynn. She was retired Corrections Officer and Married to the late Nathan "Nate" Craig.

She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories; two daughters; Paris Craig of Monroe, NC and Carolyn Craig of Pineville, NC, two sons; Nathan Craig of Monroe, NC  and Rodney "Moonie" Craig of Charlotte, NC; one brother Othar Wynn, (Mary) of Polkton, NC ; one daughter-in-law; Angela Craig of Charlotte, NC; one brother-in-law; Clyde Craig of Monroe, NC; two sisters-in-law; Yvonne Collins of Monroe, NC  and Annie Marie Hammonds of Charlotte, NC; one aunt Mildred Howard of Washington, DC; two very special God Children; Julian Lindsey and Reneazia Collins both of Monroe, NC; 16 Grandchildren and a host of Great-grandchildren a host other relatives and friends. Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC.
