Galasher (Morrison) Tillman

MRS. GALASHER  MORRISON TILLMAN, 95 of WAXHAW, NC passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Atrium Health / South in Waxhaw, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the Mount Zion Baptist Church, 9904 Andrew Jackson Road, Waxhaw, NC.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

A public viewing will be held 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday, December 20, 2019 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of Monroe, NC. which is serving the Tillman, Morrison and extended families.

Glasher, the daughter of the late Willie Pearlie Lindsey Morrison, was born on Wednesday, April 30, 1924, in Lancaster County, South Carolina.  On Thursday, December 12, 2019, she answered the call and went to be with the Lord.

She was preceded in death by all of her siblings; four sisters, Maggie, Elizabeth, Roberta and Doretha and four brothers, Robert, Willie, Elijah and James.

Glasher was married to the late Johnie E. Tillman for 55 years and to this union, six children were born.

She leaves to cherish loving memories to five daughters, Ruth Evans (David) of Waxhaw, NC, M. Loretta Martin of Fairfield, CA, Johnnie Faye Crockett (Clarence) of Waxhaw, NC, Maxine McKinney (Herbert) of Waxhaw, NC and Virginia Lowe of Charlotte, NC; one son, John Quinton Tillman (Dawn) of Waxhaw, NC; 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
