Mr. Gary Charles Reid, 49 of Peachland, NC died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Sardis Oaks Nursing Home in Charlotte, NC.  Funeral Services will be held 1pm Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Harris Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Monroe, NC with burial to follow in the Williams Cemetery in Polkton, NC.  Public Viewing will be held Friday, June 21, 2013 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC

Born in Anson County, NC, Wednesday, July 17, 1963 a son of Mildred Smith Reid of Charlotte, NC and the late Charles Reid.

He is survived by his Mother of Charlotte, NC; two sisters; Naima Jaaber of Richmond, VA and Lesa McIver of Charlotte, NC and one brother; Jerry Reid of Columbia, SC, a host of Aunts, Uncles, Neices, Nephews and friends.
