George William Crump, Jr.

MR. GEORGE WILLIAM CRUMP, JR., 42 of MT. GILEAD,  NC. passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at First Health / Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of MT. Gilead, NC..

(Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic  everyone attending the service must wear a  mask or facial covering and also for the Public viewing and please use the Hand Sanitizing Station when entering and exiting the Building.)

A public viewing will be held 2:00pm to 6:00 pm Friday, December 18, 2020 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of MT. Gilead, NC which is serving the Crump, Lilly, Chandler and extended families.

George William Crump, Jr, a son of George William Crump, Sr., and Mary Lilly Crump, was born on Monday, October 13, 1980 in Montgomery County, NC.  He departed this earthly life suddenly on Sunday, December 13, 2020, at his residence.

"Face" as he was fondly called by family and friends, loved spending time with family and friends, fishing, cooking and telling jokes.  He was a persaon who gave his all and when you need him, he'll come running.  " Face's" favorite aying was, "I gotta pay my light bill".

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Renzo and Rhodema Lilly and Willie B. and Blanche Calloway Crump.  He will be truly missed by all who loved him.

Those left to cherish loving and fond memories, his wife, Sarah Chandler Crump of the home; daughters, twin TeKia and TeKara Chandler of the home and Zakira Crump of Lexington, NC; son, Terrell Chandler of Candor, NC; mother and father, George William Sr., and Mary Lillu+y Crump of Mt. Gilead, NC; sister, April McBride (Garrrie) of Mt. Gilead,  NC; brothers, Derrick Crump of Mt. Gilead, NC and Gregory Crump (Navia) of Candor, NC; nieces, Quanisha Crump, Kinsley, Kennedy, Novia Scott, Geovanni Crump; nephews that he loved so much, Jaylen, Bryceson and Hayden McBride; aunts, Molly Lilly, Georgia Mae Crump and Rowena Crump, both of Mt. Gilead, NC, Victoria Crump of Norwood, NC, Nealie Crump Christian (Lester) of Wadeville, NC; uncles, Maholly Crump (Genise) of Norman, NC,  Phillip Gould and Walker Lilly (Rosa) all6 Mt. Gilead, NC,  and George Lilly (Lossie) of Rockingham, NC;  mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elder James  C. Williams and Mary C. Williams, both of Salisbury, NC; great-aunts, Betty Jean Ledbetter of High Point, NC and Florence Calloway of New York; special friends, Tracy Chandler and Lamont Chambers, and a host of cousins and friends.
