Grace (Rush) Knight

Mother Grace Rush Knight, 93 of Mount Gilead, NC died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at her home.  Funeral Services will be held 1pm Friday, November 23, 2012 at St. Luke's Church of God, 542 Parkertown Rd., Mount Gilead, NC 27306. Elder Prince Purcell, III, Eulogist with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.

Born February 17, 1919 on Fairview Farm in Pee Dee, Montgomery County, NC to the late Ms. Florence Rush.

Survivors include her daughters; Virginia McByrd of Atlanta, GA, Elizabeth McCauley and Mary Knight Perez  both of Mount Gilead, NC, Charlene Knight Little of Durham, NC and Ava Knight Hammond of Stafford, VA.  Grand daughter Lisha Knight Lilly and Great grandsons Earl Lilly (EJ) and Dredarious Knight (Dre) of the home and a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, neices, nephews and cousins.

Public viewing will be held prior to the service Friday, November 23, 2012, 11am to 1pm at St. Luke's Church of God.  Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Mount Gilead, NC  is in charge of all services.
