MS. GRACIE ELIZABETH HILL, 65 of GREENSBORO, NC formerly of CANDOR, NC (Dry Creek Community), passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Cone Health, Greensboro, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the East Montgomery High School Auditorium, 157 Eagle Ln., Biscoe, NC.  Ms. Hill's remains will lie in repose 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm at the Auditorium prior to the service.  Interment will follow in the Greenlake Congregational Church Cemetery, Candor, NC (Pekin Community).

(Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic everyone attending the Service and Viewing are required to wear a mask or facial covering.  Also please use the Hand Sanitizing Station when entering and exiting the Funeral Home.)

A public viewing will be held 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Friday, September 3, 2021 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of MT. Gilead, NC which is serving the Hill, Baldwin and extended families.

Miss Gracie Elizabeth Hill ,  a daughter of the late Jesse Hill, Sr., and Jennie Mae Baldwin Hill, was born on Friday, February 10, 1956, in Montgomery County, North Carolina.  She departed this earthly lffe on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Cone Health, Greensboro, NC.

Gracie was a graduate of East Montgomery High School in Biscoe, NC.  After high school, she attended ECPI in Greeensboro, NC. Gracie was emplo.ed with Candor Hosiery for several years where she was very well loved and Longworth Industries where she retired, Gracie was known for her fashion and beautiful jewelry as she always ensured she looked her best. Gracie loved spending time with her two sons, Benji and Kelsey.  She loved to call her sisters and special friends and go shopping with special friend, Jessica Shavers.  She will be sorely missed,

Gracie was preceded in death by her parents; her sonm Benji; three brothersm Frederick Hill, Johnny Hill and Thomas Hill, her sister, Cynthia Hill Little, and a niece, Sonya Hill.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Kelsey Hill of Candor, NC; granddaughters, Janiya and Al,exis; her sisters, Earnestine Hill Cameron (James) of Greensboro, NC, Selma Hill of Charlotte, NC, Daphne Deberry (Tobias Horne) of Asheboro, NC and Mary and Martha Hill, both of Candor, NC; her brothers, Jesse Hill, Ivory Hill and Antonio Hill (Bridgette), all of Candor, NC, Robert Hill (Tonnette) of Sanford, NC; aunt, Jospehine Baldwin of Candor, NC; uncle, Harvey Hill (Emma) of Wadeville, NC; sisters-in-law, Vanessa A. Hill, Sheila Hill  and brother--in-law, Richard Little; special friends, Jessica Shavers, Almetta Armstrong, Pauline Parker, Pecolia McLendon and Aileen Littlejohn; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins;(family first, friends in Guilford and Montgomery Counties.)
