Grady Wallace Rorie

Mr. Grady Wallace  Rorie, 59 of Polkton, NC, (Burnsville Community)  died Friday, November 22, 2013 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe, NC.  Funeral Services will be held 2pm Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church, 9510 Olive Branch Rd., Marshville, NC 28103.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Public viewing will be held 11am to 7pm Monday, November 25, 2013 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC.

Born Friday, August 13 , 1954 a son of Mr. James Junior Rorie of Monroe, NC and the late Minnie Leo Broadway Rorie also preceding him in death one sister; Rachel Rorie and two brothers; Michael Rorie and Eddie Vance Rorie.

He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories; his wife; Rosa D. Rorie; two sons; Christopher G. Rorie of Charlotte, NC and Benjar Brewer of Greensboro, NC; four daughters; Holly Wear, (Mikaayl) of Dalton, GA, Tanya Smith, (Robert) of Williamsburg, VA, Christina Rose, (Shaun) of Monroe, NC and Dinisha R. Gaddy, (Eric) of Wadesboro, NC; four brothers; Calvin Rorie, (Barbara), Dennis Rorie, (Patricia) and Johnny Rorie, (Sheritha) all of Monroe, NC and Terry Rorie of Charlotte, NC; four sisters; Katie Thompson, (Jerome), Ethel Rorie and Diane Rorie all of Monroe, NC  and Amy Wilson, (Marty) of Wingate, NC; 14 Grandchildren; one Great-grandchild and a host of Neices, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
