Henry Wynn, Jr.

MR. HENRY WYNN, JR., 74 of MONROE, NC, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016,  at CHS-Hospice of Union County,  in Monroe, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00pm Sunday, April 3, 2016, at the Harris Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.

A public viewing will be held 12:00pm to 6pm  Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe.

Born on  Monday, August 11, 1941,  in Union County, NC, he was a son of the late Henry Lee Wynn, Sr., and Allene Owen Wynn.   He was baptized at an early age at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church in Monroe, NC, and a graduate of Winchester High School in Monroe, NC.  Henry invested over thirty years of his life in the trucking industry. He retired from Stegall Trucking Company in 1994,  when his health began to decline.  His hobbies included Football, watching Sanford & Son and Westerns.

Survivors include his children,  Sam Wright, Julia Ann Wynn and Ronnie Wynn;  one brother,  David Lee Wynn (Jane);   six grandchildren,  Jarell Sturdivant, Jazarai Sturdivant, Natasha Sturdivant, Roland Wynn, Marcus Payne and Jarvis Johnson;  two great grandchildren;  one sister-in-law,  Betty Wynn;  several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends.
