MR. JAMES WILLIAM "TODD" LITTLE, 84 of Mt. Gilead, NC, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021, in Firsthealth Hospice and Palliative Care of Pinehurst, NC.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 9, 2021, at Mt. Zion AME Zion Church, 6748 NC Hwy 73 W., Mt. Gilead, NC (Pee Dee Community). Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Due to Covid-19, we ask that you wear a mask of facial covering when entering and exiting the funeral home, Also use the Hand Sanitizer Station upon entering and exiting the funeral home for the safety of our families and staff.
Public viewing will be Sunday, August 8, 2021 from, 2:00 pm and 6:00 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home and Cremations, Mt. Gilead, NC.

Mr. James William "Todd" Little , a son of the late Henry and Annie Chadwick Little, was born on Sunday, May 2, 1937 in Montgomery County, Mt. Gilead, NC. He departed this life on earth on Thursday, August 5, 2021m in the Firsthealth Hospice and Palliative Care of Pinehurst, NC.
He attended the Montgomery County Schools and Peabody High School, Troy, NC. At an early age, he attended McAuley Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church.
Todd relocated to Brooklyn, NY, where he resided for over 30 years and later moved back to Mt. Gilead, NC.
Todd was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Rodney Little; two brothers, Fredrick Little and William :"Nook" Little and a sister, Ella Little Hammonds (Reece).
Those eft to carry on his legacy are his three sons, James Kelvin Little (Marita), of Mt. Holly, NC , Timothy Little (Crystal) of New York, and Marcus Little of the home; two daughters, Debra Little Lawson of Blandenburg, MD and Lisa Little of Houston, TX; two sisters, Lillian Little of Mt. Gilead, NC and Margaret Little of Candor, NC ; special friend, Gloria Brown; two sisters-in-law, Clara Little ( William "Nook"-deceased) and Beverly Little (Fredrick-deceased) both of Mt. Gilead, NC; 15 grandchildren,, 8 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
