MR. JAMES NICHOLSON, 79 of  TROY, NC (Springdale Heights Community) passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 in the Atrium Health / North East in Concord, NC.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Harris Funeral Home of MT. Gilead, NC

(Due the COVID 19 Pandemic everyone attending  Service and Public Viewing are required to wear a  mask  or  facial covering.  Also please use the Hand Sanitizing Station when entering and exiting the Funeral Home.)

A public viewing will be held 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Saturday, April 10, 2021  at Harris Funeral Home and Cremations of MT. Gilead, NC.

Mr. James Nicholson, a son of the late Eli and Jenny Tyson Nicholson, was born on Monday, June 2, 1941 in Montgomery County, North Carolina.

James was employed and lived in Troy until he retired from Capel's.  His passion was the word of God,  When he wasn't giving the word, he lived the word.

Those preceding him in death were his parents; sisters, Eva Anderson, Catherine Carters, Brenda Gainey; brothers, Joseph Nicholson and Arthur Nicholson; son, James Darrell Nicholson and daughter, Joyce Ingram Toney.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his soulmate of 20 plus years, Elizabeth Bostick of Mt. Gilead, NC; sons, Evins Nicholson, Kent Nicholson, Cedrick Drake, Ellsworth Ingram and Kenneth Ingram; daughters; Dianne Harris, Kimberly Harris, Rose Marie Gaddy, Tatina Pemberton, Sherry McKoy and Susan Drake; special grandchildren, Evins Nicholson II(Latoya Nicholson) Cherise Nicholson, Tameka Ingram and Ebony; additional grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Josephine Jones and Linda Lewis; brother Gale Nicholson;; and a host of cousins other relatives and friends,
