MRS. JANETTE ROBINSON JACOBS, 70 of CHARLOTTE, NC passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020 at Atrium Health / Main in Charlotte, NC.
A Private Graveside Service will be held 1:00 pm Friday, April 3, 2020 at Sharon Memorial Park, 5400 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC.
A Public Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, Janette Robinson Jacobs, departed her earthly life on Sunday, March 29, 2020.
Janette was the seventh child born to the late Paul and Mildred Dumas Robinson on August 10, 1949, in Montgomery County, North Carolina. Her parents and six siblings preceded her in death. Melvin, Winfred, Johnny, Paul, Jr., Parnell and Herman Robinson and Mary Robinson Miller.
Janette received her education in the public schools of Montgomery County. She spent several years working in education at Johnson C. Smith University and in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System. She was an avid sports fanand spent several years working for Showpro Entertainment. She was a long-time member of New Saint John Baptist Church, where she served as an Usher, Deaconess and a member of the Pastor's Aide.
Janette is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Jacobs, whom she married in Mt. Gilead, North Carolina on June 6, 1976 and to this union three sons were born.
She leaves cherished memories to her husband, Thomas Jacobs; three sons, Roderick Jacobs (Sonya), Thomas Jacobs II (Shadale) and Tedmond (fiance' Demetria); seven grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters; Harold Robinson (Joyce), Jimmy Robinson (Linda), Nellie Traylor (Charles), George Herbert (Carol), Sally Robinson and Ellen Ropbinson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
