MR. JAQUAN TYRON DUMAS, 31 of RALEIGH, NC, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019 in Raleigh. NC.

Funeral Services be held 2:00 pm Sunday, September 15, 2019 at the McAuley Memorial AME Zion Church, 2829 NC Hwy 109 South, MT. Gilead, NC.

Interment will follow in McAuley Memorial Gardens in MT. Gilead, NC.

A public viewing will be held 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of MT. Gilead, NC which is serving the Dumas, Bennett and extended families.

Jaquan Tyron Dumas, a son of Latonya Denise Dumas and Leroy Kelly Bennett, and step-son of Darryl Kee, was born on Monday, June 28, 1988 in Montgomery County, NC.

Jaquan attended the public schools of Wake County, in Raleigh,

He was a free spirit and loved his family dearly, and always kept a smile on his face.  He was taken from this earth too soon but he lived life to the fullest.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jennie Bell Dumas and Johnnie Jones.

Jaquan leaves cherished memories to his son, Amir Dumas of Killeen TX; his mother, Latonya D. Dumas of Raleigh, NC and his father, Leroy Kelly Bennett of Staten Island, NY; step-father, Darryl Kee of Halifax, NC; devoted brother, Dyrelle Kee of Raleigh, NC; his grandmothers, Diane Bennett of Staten Island, NY and Maxine Kee of Brooklyn, NY; great uncles, Asia Dumas (Shirley) of Mt. Gilead, NC and Charlie Jones of Greenwood, SC; God mother, Cynthia Gamble of Queens, NY; special aunts, Angela Leak (Richard) of Mt. Gilead, NC, Barbara Vaugh, of East Hartford, Conn., Diane Harris of Raleigh, NC and Lueray Dowdy of Brookly, NY; uncle, Anthony Dumas(Nannette) of Marietta, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
