Jasmine Bligh Mcafee

MISS JASMINE BLIGH McAFEE, 24 of MONROE, NC, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, FL.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00pm Monday, April 4, 2016,  at the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, 503 Maurice St., Monroe, NC  28112.  Bishop Osco E. Gardin, Jr. Pastor, will be the  eulogist. Interment will follow in the Suncrest Cemetery in Monroe, NC.

A public viewing will be held 3:30pm to 7pm Sunday,  April 3, 2016,  at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC.

Born in Virginia Beach, Virginia,  on Saturday, September 14, 1991, she was a daughter of James H. McAfee Jr.,  and Joan Allen McAfee.  Jasmine was a graduate of Monroe High School and attended Central State University in Ohio.  She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, James H. McAfee, Sr. and matermal grandparents, Roger and Fannie Allen.

She leaves to cherish loving and fond memories to her parents; two children, Jeremy Hunter and Jayden McAfee;  her fiance', Maurice Hunter;  paternal grandmother,  Mary McAfee;  siblings,  Alwanna Owens, Ishadot Griffin (Tony), Chashawah Helms (Curtis D. III), Ausommia Williams (Nathaniel) and Jensun McAfee; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of extended family and friends.
