MRS. JENNIE LEE HOUGH BOWMAN, 85 of MARSHVILLE, NC died Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at her home.  Funeral Services will be held 2pm Monday, May 19, 2014 at Flint Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, 5720 Flint Ridge Church Rd. Marshville, NC 28103 with Visitation to be held 1pm to 2pm at the Church prior to the service, Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery, Public viewing will be held 1pm to 6pm Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe.

Born in Union County, North Carolina, Thursday, July 12, 1928 a daughter of the late Tairl Hough, Sr. and Arlena Howard Hough. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Christine Bowman Staton.

She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to her husband; Charlie Bowman of the home; two daughters; Yvonne Meeks (Melvin) of Pineville, NC and Betty Stowe (Robert) of Charlotte, NC; three sons; Charles Bowman of Marshville, NC, Ellison Bowman, Sr. (Linda) of Charlotte, NC and Jerry Bowman, Sr. (Jean) of Peachland, NC; one brother; Kemp Hough, Sr. (Ida) of Hempstead, NY and several Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, Neices, Nephews and Cousins.
