Jerole Ardell Dumas

MR. JEROLE ARDELL "Bear"  DUMAS, 60 of MOUNT GILEAD, NC, passed away  Monday, February 22, 2016 at his home. Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Leah Levin Memorial Auditorium, 102 S. School Street, Mount Gilead, North Carolina.

" Bear ", as he was fondly called by everyone, was born on Sunday, February 27, 1955, in Montgomery County, NC, to the late Jethro and Myrtle McAuley Dumas.  He attended the public schools of Montgomery County and attended West Montgomery High School.  He attended various churches in the community.  He was formerly employed by Parker Construction in Greensboro, NC.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carol Parker and a brother, Chavis Lavern Dumas..  He will be sorely missed by family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memories are his only son, Benson Sheroid Montgomery of Ramseur, NC; one sister, Marian Lynn Dumas of the home; two brothers, Reginald Burnell Dumas (Shirley) of Lauderhill, FL and Bluford Wayne Dumas (Debra)  of Browns Summit, NC; one grandson, Sincere DaQuan Medley of Shelby, NC;  two uncles,  Asia Dumas (Shirley) of Mount Gilead, NC and Frank Dumas of New Jersey; one aunt, Alberta McAuley of Mount Gilead, NC; one brother-in-law, Clifton Parker of Greensboro, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to the donors choice.  Family  visitation will be at the home of his uncle, Asia Dumas in Mount Gilead, NC.
