John Edward Gillespie

MR. JOHN EDWARD GILLESPIE, 50 of MARSHVILLE, NC passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at CHS-Hospice of Union County in Monroe, NC.  Funeral Services will be held 3pm Sunday, December 27, 2015 at First Church God, 113 Booker St., Marshville, NC 28103.  Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.  His body will lie in state one hour prior to service.  Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe is in charge.

Born Sunday, December 5, 1965 a son of Ms. Sarah Gillespie of Marshville, NC

Survivors other than his mother; four sisters; Sarah Diane Gillespie and  Nashima Gillespie both of Raleigh, NC, Isabelle Gillespie of Wingate, NC and Karen Gillespie Shepard (Lionel) of Raeford, NC. three aunts; Queen Sturdivant and Rosie Thomas both of Marshville, NC and Sadie Hamlor of New York, NY, two uncles; Romie Gillespie of Charlotte, NC and Archie Gillespie (Carolyn) of Marshville, NC and a host of neices, nephews and cousins.
