John Robert Mcneely

MR. JOHN ROBERT McNEELY, 57 of MONROE, NC passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Atrium Health / Cabarrus in Concord, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the Harris Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Monroe, NC.  Interment will follow in the Suncrest Cemetery in Monroe, NC

(Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic everyone attending the Service and Public Viewing are required to wear a mask or facial covering. Please use the Hand Sanitizing Station when entering and exiting the Funeral Home.)

A public viewing will  be held  2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday, August 8, 2022 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of Monroe, NC which is serving the McNeely, Houser and extended families.

John was born Monday, October 26, 1964 in Monroe, NC to the late  Joe Lewis McNeely and Rilla Bell Houser McNeely.  He graduated from Monroe High School , class of  1983 and worked at ConMet for 25 plus years.

He was a loving, caring, giving and sweet person to all who knew him. He loved grilling, his Duke Basketball and was a devoted Raiders Football fan.

Those proceeding him in death were his parents, Joe Lewis and Rilla Bell McNeely; brothers: Jerry Houser, Joe McNeely and sister, Donna McNeely.

John leaves to cherish fond memories his three daughters, Kendra McNeely of Pageland, SC, ShaKeela McNeely of Concord, NC, Tamela McNeely of Monroe, NC, Three loving grandsons, Malakai, Isaiah and Jacob, Three sisters, Brenda McNeely, Dianna McKneely and Mary McNeely all of Monroe, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends. Memories of him will always be  in our hearts. The joy he brought to us will never be forgotten - The family.
