John Dennis Roberson, Jr.

MR. JOHN DENNIS ROBERSON, JR. 44 of WAXHAW, NC passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at CHS-Union in Monroe, NC.  A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Harris Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Monroe, NC.  Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe is in charge.

Dennis was born Thursday, March 11, 1971 in Mecklenburg County, NC to John Robertson, Sr., and the late Evangelette Roberson, he was raised by his loving adopted Mom, Barbara Polk James.

"Poe Pimp" as  he was so fondly known by everyone was a loving and devoted husband and father, he was known to be a "Jack of all trades". Dennis loved fishing cooking and fixing cars.  He will be sorely missed.  Evangelette Roberson his biological mother preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish loving and fond memories, to his devoted wife, Dionne Hough Roberson; one daughter; Patrice Denise Roberson; two sons; LaDonovan "Donnie" Duncan and Daniel Hough; his father, John Roberson, Sr.; five sisters, Cammie Roberson, Keshea Roberson, Jackie Roberson, Roeshell Jackson (Demetrius) and Jamie Hamilton (Johndale); one brother; James Gaither ( Ginger); one sister- in-law; Teresa Rorie (Craig); mother-in-law; Mary Williams; one special niece and nephew; Jamekia and Jonathan Hamilton and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
