Johnna Tims

MISS JOHNNA TIMS, 49 of CHARLOTTE, NC passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Accordius Health of Charlotte, NC.

A Memorial Service in her honor will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Marvin AME Zion Church, 1525 Crane Rd., Waxhaw, NC 28173.

A Visitation of family and friends will be held 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm in the church sanctuary prior to the service.  Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of Monroe, NC is serving the Tims, Davis and extended families.

Ms. Johnna Tims was born on Sunday, March 29, 1970, to the late John Walker Tims, Jr., and Patricia Davis Tims in Union County, North Carolina.

Johnna matriculated through the Union County Public School System and Barber Scotia College in Concord, NC and Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC.  She was currently employed with Moss Supply Company of Charlotte, NC.

She had a passion for people and loved her dog, Kashmir.  She was the life of the party and never met a stranger.

Johnna was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mary W. Davis and Richard Davis and paternal grandparents, Eula Tims and John Walter Tims, Sr.

Left to cherish her memories are her siblings, Iris Christine Tims (Maarten Wood) of Charlotte, NC, Antoinette LaPree' Tims (DeWillis Lytle) of Waxhaw, NC, Dameian Hasty of Winston-Salem, NC, Latoya Shanee' Ivey and LaQuitta Tims, both of Charlotte, NC; 6 nephews, 7 nieces, one great-niece, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, including special friend, Delores Blount.
