Mr. Johnnie William "Johnnie Boy"  Hill, 62 of Washington, DC formerly of Candor, NC (Dry Creek Community) died Saturday, February 8, 2014,  at Beacon Place in Greensboro, NC.  Funeral Services will be held 1pm Wednesday, February 19, 2014,  at Greenlake Congregational Church, 4927 Pekin Rd., (Pekin Community) Candor, NC 27229. Interment will follow in the Bruton Cemetery (Wadeville Community) Mount Gilead, NC 27306.   Public viewing will be held 12 noon to 7pm Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Mount Gilead, NC

Born in Montgomery County, NC, Tuesday, March 27, 1951  to Mrs. Jennie Mae Baldwin Hill of Candor, NC and the late Jessie James Hill, Sr., was educated in the Montgomery County NC Public Schools and moved to Washington, DC,  were he was employed as a Roofer. He was preceded in death by one brother Frederick Hill, a niece Sonya Hill and nephew, Benji Hill.

He leaves to cherish fond memories in addition to his mother; Jennie Mae Hill, and his wife,  Anita Hill,  of the home; two step-children; Ronald Jackson and  Adrian Jordan; seven sisters; Earnestine Cameron (James) of Greensboro, NC, Daphine H. Deberry and Gracie Hill both of Asheboro, NC, Selma Hill, Mary Hill and Martha Hill all of Candor, NC and Cynthia Little (Richard) of Mount Gilead, NC; five brothers; Jesse Hill, Jr. of Pinehurst, NC, Thomas Hill (Vanessa), Antonio Hill   and Ivory Hill all of Candor, NC  and Robert Hill (Lonnette) of Sanford, NC;  one Uncle; Harvey C. Hill of Mount Gilead, NC; three aunts; Inez Marshall and Josephine Baldwin both of Candor, NC and Evelyn Hill of Mount Gilead, NC; mother-in-Law; Annie Chase Lee of Washington, DC; two  brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law and a host of neices, nephews, cousins, relatives and dear friends.
