MR. JOHNNY HOWARD ALLSBROOKS, 50, of MONROE, NC, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2016, at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 501 P.E. Bazemore Dr., Monroe, NC 28110.  Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Monroe, NC.

A public viewing will be held 12:00pm to 6:00pm, Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC.

Johnny Howard Allsbrooks, was born on Wednesday, August 4, 1965, in Chesterfield, South Carolina, to Mrs. Peggy Jean Miller Allsbrooks and the late Mr. Haywood Allsbrooks.

Fondly known as "Howard T", by everyone, was a 1983 graduate of Monroe High School, Monroe, NC.  In the community, he was a AAU Team Basketball Coach, Philadelphia Eagles fan and was a proud member of the "DUKE NATION"!  He was a faithful member of Mt. Pilgram Baptist Church in Pineville, NC, under the leadership of Bishop Walter A. Clyburn.  He will be sorely missed by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Haywood Allsbrooks; a brother, Jeremy Allsbrooks and a sister, Wanda Faye Crawford.

He leaves loving and fond memories to his loving family; his mother, Mrs. Peggy Miller Allsbrooks of Monroe, NC; one sister, Chantal Akers of Monroe, NC; three brothers, Marlon Allsbrooks (wife Tina) of Indian Trail, NC, Roderick " Ricky" Allsbrooks (fiance' Paris Blakeney) of Monroe, NC, and Randall McClain of Monroe, NC; five nieces, two nephews, one great-nephew; one uncle, three aunts; special best friend, William "Buck" Collins; and a host of cousins and friends.
