LaCHRIS SHANAE WALLS, 31 of CHARLOTTE, NC, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017 at CHS-Main in Charlotte, NC.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 pm Friday, June 9, 2017 Harris Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Monroe, NC

Interment to follow in Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

A public vieiwng will be held 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm..

LaChris was born on Sunday, September 22, 1985 to Gertrude Nixon Alsobrooks and the late Henry G. Walls in Union County, NC.

LaChris attended school in Union County, Monroe High School in Monroe, NC and Stanford Institute.  She was employed with Alpha Divine Healthcare in Charlotte, NC and 9 years of service at Quincy's in Monroe, NC.  She was also an interpreter in Charlotte and Monroe.

LaChris was preceded in death by her father, Henry G. Walls, maternal grandparents, Reverend Johnny and Reverend Esther Mae Ellerbe Nixon and paternal grandfather, Henry George Wallace White.

LaChris leaves cherished memories to her three precious children, Natalia Jabree Walls, Luis Alberto Walls and Brenna Deshay Walls of the home; her beloved mother, Gertrude Nixon Alsobrooks of Monroe, NC; two sisters, Amanda Tovian Nixon and Crystal Renae Howard (Dewayne), all of Monroe, NC; five brothers, Shauntia Dorsey of Columbia, SC, Arron Dorsey of Clover, SC, Reverend Christopher Houston (Jackie) of Richmond, VA, Jermaine Walls of Monroe, NC and Angelo Maurice Covington, Midland, NC;  her paternal grandmother, Lee Cannon Walls of Monroe, NC and a very special friend and cousin, Sheketia Blount, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
