MR. LARRY HAMILTON CHAMBERS, 57 OF ALBEMARLE, NC, formerly of Mt. Gilead, NC , passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC.

Family Visitation will be Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home and Cremations of Mt. Gilead, NC, 2529 NC Hwy 109 South, Mt. Gilead, NC

Mr. Larry Hamilton Chambers , was born in Essex County, Newark, New Jersey, to Bessie Mae Knight and the late Larry Gene Chambers, on September 7, 1964.  He departed this earthly life on Thursday, January 27, 2022, in the Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, (Tucker Hospice House) Kannapolis, NC.

Larry , as he was so fondly called by mostly everyone, worked as a cook for assisted living facilities since his late 30's.  He enjoyed spending time with family and traveling.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Larry Gene Chambers, a daughter, Aliesha Carroll and  maternal  and paternal grandparents.

Larry leaves behind a lovely wife, Monique Robinson-Chambers; mother, Bessie Mae Chambers of Mt. Gilead, NC; sister, Tonya Chambers-Stowe (Phillip) of Gastonia, NC; a brother, Richard Chambers (Christina) of Inman, SC; four daughters, Latisha Chambers of Greensboro, NCC, Ameerah Chambers of Newark, NJ, Aisya Carroll of Mt. Holly, NJ and Kayla Richardson of Albemarle, NC; three sons, Antwoin Hutcheson of Charlotte, NC, Daevon and Allen Hammond, both of Albemarle, NC; two grandchildren, Nevaeh Inyang and Taron Amour, Jr., both of Mt. Holly, NC; aunt and uncle, George Knight, Jr. and Ella B. Knight, both of Mt. Gilead, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
