MS. LORETTA FAYE " PEE WEE" PATTERSON, 59 of TROY, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015,  at her residence.  Funeral Services will be held 12 noon Saturday, September 26, 2015, at the Troy Chapel AME Zion Church, 130 Barnhill St., Troy, NC 27371. Reverend Lisa Caldwell, pastor,  will deliver the Homegoing Message. Family Visitation will be held 11am to 12 noon  prior to the service at the church.  Interment will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory in Albemarle, NC.  A public viewing will be held 12 noon to 7pm Friday, September 25, 2015,  at Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Mount Gilead, NC.

Born in Troy, NC, Wednesday, June 6, 1956 the youngest child of the late William Patterson and Mary Agnes Bowden Patterson. "Pee Wee" as she was so fondly called joined Troy Chapel AME Zion Church at an early age serving on the Junior Choir,  Usher Board and attending Sunday School. "Pee Wee's " nieces and nephews were the highlight of her life. She treasured her many friends, known for her love of conversation and knowledge of the family tree, and never met a stranger.  She received her  education from Peabody Elementary School, Troy Junior High and was a 1974 graduate of West Montgomery High School.  " Pee Wee" received an Associate Degree in Computer Science from Durham Technical Institude in Durham, NC. Her career path lead her to Montgomery Memorial Hospital, Springs Mills and Candor Hosiery. Civic affiliations were the Benson Montgomery Post # 358 Ladies Auxiliary of Troy, NC and a member of the Missionary Society of Troy Chapel AME Zion Church.

Preceding her in death were her Parents and immediate family members, Hallie Mae Love, Sharon Patterson, Milton Patterson, Larry Patterson and Antwan Patterson.

Those left to cherish and honor her memory are one brother; William Gene Patterson (Cathy) of Durham, NC, one sister; Andrea Marshall (Randy) of Troy, NC, one brother-in law; Thomas Love; four aunts; Myrtle Wright of Morristown, NJ, Lenora Spencer of Washington, DC, Evelyn Bowden of Candor, NC, Bobbie Bowden of Mount Gilead, NC; nieces and nephews; Deborah, Thomas, Jr., Richard, Cynthia, Darrell and Cedric Love all of Baltimore, MD, Corinna Whitaker of Troy, NC, Marie Mitchell (Michael) of Fort Myers, FL, Tawanda Garrison (Rodney) of Concord, NC, Tanisha McRae of Ashboro, NC, Jeramie Patterson (Tiffany) of Wilmington, NC, Niya Young (Jimmy) of Charleston, SC, Colby Marshall of Ellenwood, GA, Amber Marshall of Winston Salem, NC, Terell Marshall of Norwood, NC; 19 great nieces, 15 great nephews; one family friend Calleen Haywood of Troy, NC and a host of cousins, relatives, special friends and caring neighbors.
