Lucille " Tincie " Rorie

MISS LUCILLE "Tincie" RORIE, 74 of MARSHVILLE, NC passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Monroe Rehabilitation Center in Monroe, NC.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00pm Friday, March 31, 2017 at the Greater Grace Community Church, 880 Hasty Rd., Marshville, NC 28103. Reverend Rodney J. Evans, Sr., Pastor, Eulogist.   Her remains will lie in repose 1:00pm to 2:00pm prior to service at the church.  Interment will follow in the Nicey Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Marshville, NC.

A public viewing will be held 12:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremaion Service of Monroe, NC.

Lucille was born on Thursday, October 8, 1942, in Union County, NC, to the late James T. Rorie, Sr., and Glendora Faulkner  Rorie.   She earned her heavenly wings on Sunday March 26, 2017 in the Monroe Rehabilitation  Center, Monroe, NC.

She was a member of Nicey Grove Baptist Church and attended until her health declined.

She leaves to cheer loving memories to her brother, James Rorie, Jr.(Shelia) of Wingate, NC; two aunts, Mary Ruth Leak of Patterson, NJ and Jo Linda Phoenix, of Bowie,MD; niece, Beverly Mungo ( Michael) of Monroe, NC; nephews, James "Von"  Huntley (Sherry) of Monroe, NC Jamie Rorie of Wingate, NC and Mickey Harris( Bridget) of Rochester, NY; Andre Huntley (Stacey) of Wingate, NC ; foster brother, Albert Station of Marysville, NC, 13 great-nieces and nephews, 1 grea-tgreat nephews, and a host of cousin and friends.
