MRS. MARY ELIZABETH "Lib" HEATH ELLIOTT, 70 of MONROE, NC passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center-Union in Monroe, NC. Funeral Services will be held 1pm Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Monroe First Church of God, 301 Morgan-Mill Rd., Monroe, NC 28110, Rev. Floyd Bowen, Pastor, Eulogist, Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Monroe, NC.  A public viewing will be held 1:30pm to 7pm Friday, March 6, 2015 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC.

Born in Monroe, NC, Friday, August 4, 1944 a daughter of Gladys Blakeney Heath of Monroe, NC and the late Clyde Heath, Sr. "Lib" as she was so fondly called by her family and friends, was a long time member of Monroe First Church of God in Monroe, NC and was educated in the public schools of Union County and attended Winchester High School in Monroe, NC.

She was preceded in death by her Father; Husband, Parks Elliott and Daughter Cherly Heath Perkins.

She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to her son; James Heath (Marilyn) of Monroe, NC; mother; Gladys Blakeney Heath of Monroe, NC; brothers; Leroy Heath, Sr. (Janice), Clyde Heath, Jr. (Pearline), Henry Wynn, Jr. (Shirley), and James Wynn (Betty) all of Monroe, NC and David Wynn (Jane) of Richmond, VA; sister-in-law; Mildred Oxner of Charlotte, NC; brothers-in-laws: James Elliott of Monroe, NC, William Elliott and Roosevelt Elliott both of Charlotte, NC; 15 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and dear friends.
