Napoleon Octavia Bonaparte Christian

MR. NAPOLEON OCTAVIA BONAPARTE CHRISTIAN, 44 of NEWARK, NJ, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016, at his home. He is the son of Ms. Margaret Christian of Newark, NJ,  formerly of Mount Gilead, NC (Wadeville Community).

Gathering of family and friends and Viewing will be held 11:00 am to 12:00pm Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Mount Gilead, NC. Committal and Interment will follow at 12:30 pm at the Bruton Cemetery in Mount Gilead, NC (Wadeville Community).

Napoleon Christian was born on Thursday,  October 5, 1972, in Newark, NJ, to Margaret Christian and the late Phillip Bailey.  He depared this earthly life on Thursday, October 27, 2016.

Napoleon was very sociable, loved to talk to people all the time.  He enjoyed sports and tried to know everything in the world.

He attended school in East Orange area, where he was a student at Clifford J. Scott High School.  He was also employed by Gray Stone Hospital and Home Depot.

Napoleon was blessed with four children and valued his family and loved spending time with them.  He will be greatly missed by family and all who knew him as a caring and loving person.

He was preceded in death by his father, Philip Bailey.

Napoleon leaves to cherish loving and fond memories to his mother, Margaret Christian; his four children, Jason Eargle Christian, Napoleon A. Christian, Noah E Christian, all of Newark, NJ, and Sonye N. Christian of Willingboro, NJ; two. brothers, Otis Christian and Quentin Christian, both of Newark, NJ; two special acquaintances, Asia N. Hey and Shaulla Peachee Austin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Napoleon's Homegoing Service was held Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at Perry's Funeral Home, Newark, NJ., at 12 noon.  Local arrangements by Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Mt. Gilead, NC.
