PASTOR ROBERT LEE CROWDER, 50 of MONROE, NC passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Atrium  Health / Union in Monroe, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Nicey Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 318 Camden Road, Marshville, NC. His remains will lie in repose 2:30 to 3:00 pm at the church prior to the service.  Interment will follow in the Nicey Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

(Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic everyone attending the Service are required to wear a mask or facial covering.  Also please use the Hand Sanitizing Station when entering and exiting the Funeral Home.)

A public viewing will be held 2:00 pm 6:00 pm Friday, March 4, 2022 at  Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of Monroe, NC is serving the Crowder and extended families.

Pastor Robert was born Thursday, July 8, 1971 in Union County, NC,  a son John Calvin Crowder Jr., of  Monroe, NC and the late Ernestine Ola Huntley Crowder.  He loved Gardening, Fishing, riding his Dirt Bike and Preaching the word of God was his passion.

He leaves loving and fond memories to his wife; Anethia Crowder of the the home, two sons; Chris Crowder and Jonathan Crowder both of Monroe, NC, one daughter;  Kayaria Crowder of Wadesboro, NC;, his father John Calvin Crowder, Sr. of Monroe, NC, two step daughters; Niyah Lindsey and Lea Saunders both of Monroe, NC and two grandchildren; one brother; John C. Crowder, Jr. (Jessica) of Greenville, NC  one sister Wilhelmina Crowder of Charlotte, NC, aunts; Shirley Roland, Edna Covington (Maxwell), Mildred Ashcraft (Richard) and Sandra Huntley all of Monroe, NC;, uncles; Archie Huntley, Sherman Huntley and  Kelly Wayne Huntley all of Monroe, NC; Mother- in-law; Alma Massey of Monroe, NC, Father-in-law Haywood Wingo of Pageland, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Special thanks to Ms Romenia Hall and Bert Brewer for being a true friend, caring aunt and for being by our side at a very difficult time in our lives. Love,  Robert and Anethia.
