MISS PATRICIA ANTOINETTE STEELE, 60 of MONROE, NC died Sunday, Septemeber 14, 2014 at her home.  Funeral Servcies will be held 1pm Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 501 P.E. Bazemore Dr., Monroe, NC 28110, Visitation will  be held 12 noon to 1pm at the Church prior to the service, Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Monroe, NC.  Public viewing will be held 12 noon to 7pm Friday, September 19, 2014 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC.

Patricia (Trish) was born on Monday, December 7, 1953, to the late James Irving and Billie Josephine Steele, in Union County, Monroe, NC.  She was reared by her grandparents, the late Perry and Maggie Irvins of Monroe, NC.  Patricia was a graduate of Pomona High School in Pomona, California.  She was employed by Johnson Mills for several years and she joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Monroe, NC.

She enjoyed being around children and playing games, listening to music, watching pro football, and making people laugh.

Sh leaves to cherish loving and fond memories to four sisters; Saundra Lunn (Sylvester of Darlington, SC, Teresa Irving of Monroe,  Saundra Bouleware (Raymond) of Weddington, NC and Angela Wright of Oxen Hill, MD; step-mother, Ruth Neal Irving of Monroe, NC; aunts; Betty Richardson Evans (Bernard) Vera Covington and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
