Pearlie (Knotts) Chambers

MRS. PEARLIE KNOTTS CHAMBERS, 82 of MONROE, NC, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016, at White Oak Manor in Waxhaw, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at the Harris Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Monroe, NC.

A public viewing will be held 1:00pm to 7:00pm Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC.

Born in Anson County, NC, Thursday, June 14, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Clyde Chambers and Madgie Effie Knotts.  Mrs. Chambers attended Gulledge School in Union County, NC. She was a homemaker until  her children attended school, and! later she was employed by Allen Overall Company of Monroe until the Company closed. Mrs. Chambers also attented  New Life Christian Center Church. After God,  her next love was her family.  She was a loyal and dedicated, supportive and loving wife, mother, sister and aunt. Her Hobbies were Shopping, Cooking and Baking Cakes. She was preceded in death by a son, Caroll Chambers.

To cherish her loving memories are her husband; Howard Junior Chambers;  their children; Annie Blakeney (James) of Monroe, NC, Jessie Chambers of Wingate, NC, Mary Threatt (Harold) of Pageland, SC, Clarence Chambers (Felecia) of Wingate, NC, Carolyn Williams (Daniel), Willis Chambers, David Chambers, Richard Chambers and Larry Chambers all of Monroe, NC and Tommy Chambers of Charlotte, NC, one sister; Shirley Jean Black of Charlotte, NC, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
