Phyllis Priscilla (Ingram) Little

MRS. PHYLLIS PRISCILLA INGRAM LITTLE, 69 of MT. GILEAD, NC passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Atrium Health / Main in Charlotte, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Roper Grove A.M.E. Zion Church, 196 Roper Grove Church Rd., MT. Gilead, NC.  Mrs. Little's remains will lie in repose 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the church prior to the service.  Interment will follow in the Chestnut A.M.E. Zion Church Cemetery, MT. Gilead, NC

Born on Friday, December 17, 1954 in Montgomery County, NC.

At an early age, "Phit " gave her life to Christ where she attended the Roper Grove A.M.E. Zion Church, Mt. Gilead and was baptized there.  When she was a young teenager, she sang in the church choir and occasionally taught Sunday School.

She received her formal education in the Montgomery County Public School System.  She graduated from West Montgomery High School, Class of 1973. "Phit " later decided to furthur her education and enrolled in Montgomery Communiity College, Troy, NC, where she obtained her Associates Degree in Micro-Computer Systems Technology in 1993.

Thrughout the years, " Phit " was employed at Rae Craft, Quick Chek and Churche's Chicken and Chips.  Phit was a devoted wife, mother, sister, cousin and friend.  She opened her heart to those she met and was greatly loved by those whose lives she touched.

"Phit " was preceded in death by her son, Matheus "Matt" Ingram and her mother, Shirley Ingram.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband of 47 years, Lewis Little; one daughter, Sherlisha Ingram (Corey); one brother, Paul Ingram; five grandchildren, Jacques Ingram,Tiasyah Ingram, Nadia Lilly, Jabria Ingram, Corey Ingram, Jr.; two great-granddaughters, Trinity Harris and Ka'Mariyah Johnson; two special siblings, Anthony Ingram and Talma Dunlap (Bruce) ; bonus son, Marcus Owens; two special sons,, Tremayne Ingram (Tacarra) and Aquil Ingram; two special grandsons, Keyshon Ingram and Jaquil Baldwin; two aunts, Margaret and Carrie Ingram; one god-daughter, Delila Drake; two special friends, Teresa Horne abd Henrietta Foust, and a host of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.
