Priscilla Ann (Shepherd) Stanback

MRS. PRISCILLA ANN SHEPHERD STANBACK , 53, of Mt. Gilead, NC, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014, in the Firsthealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, NC.

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at Clark's Grove Baptist Church, Mt. Gilead, NC, with burial in the Bruton Cemetery, Wadeville, NC.

Priscilla was born on Sunday, November 13, 1960, in Montgomery County, North Carolina, to the late Bobby Shepherd, Sr., and Fannie Lee Bowden Shepherd.

She attended the public schools of Montgomery County and was formerly employed with Candor Hosiery Mill in Troy, NC.  Her father preceded her in death recently on March,17, 2014.

Those left to cherish her loving memory; her husband, Elester Stanback, of the home; a loving daughter, Katosha Shepherd of Charlotte, NC and a son, Cedric Stanback of Mt. Gilead, NC; a sister, Brenda Shepherd of Kannapolis, NC; three brothers, Bobby Shepherd, Jr., of Albemarle, NC. Michael Shepherd of Harlem, NY and Kelvin Shepherd (Lakeshia) of Mt. Gilead, NC; seven grandchildren; Tykayla, Natajhma, Ja-Rell, Cedric Jr., Trinaja, Rykeem and Na'Ziyah; one devoted aunt, Lola Tyson of Troy, NC; four uncles, two sisters-in-law,  one brother-in-law, a best friend, Lynn Stanback, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and dear friends.

Public viewing will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., at Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Mt. Gilead, NC.
